“There are 42 suicides for every 1 industrial accident.”

This was one of the key messages I took away from the SHE conference in Newcastle where I hosted a table for my clients.

Yet health & safety in the industry still very much focuses on preventing accidents ignoring wellbeing. 

This event looked at health & safety from the aspect of people, behaviours and culture.
