Celebrating International Women's Day 2025

International Women's Day is always a packed agenda for us at Constructing Rainbows.

This year we joined the International Professional Security Association (IPSA) for their International Women's Day event at the Royal Society of Chemistry where we heard from security professionals about their route into the sector.

We then went to join Lloyds Banking Group for a game of guess what the female inventors invented (our table was a calculator).

The next day we respresented LGBT+ in Facilities Management at RICS HQ for their International Women’s Day event where they invited students and graduates to speed-mentoring with industry professionals. Looking forward to seeing more women join our profession going forwards.

As always, the key message is that we need to continue the pushing for gender equity throughout the year as we are still a long way apart from it.
